| Bollywood Strike |
The Indian Film industry will be observing the token strike
on february 23 against 10.3% service tax imposed by the government on film
industry.
So on feb 23 Ticket counters will be closed, theaters goes blank , No cameras
will roll on the day. Both regional and bollywood film industry are facing the
problem as more than 50% of movie budget has to be paid to the government in
form of several taxes.
TP Aggarwal,VP,Film Federation of india confirmed that all
regional film industries and bollywood will be partcipating in strike.
