Ricky Ponting dropped from Australian ODI squad for the rest of the ongoing triangular series between India, Srilanka and hosts Australia.

Ricky ponting despite showing any form in the on going series Australian selectors finally decided to drop him. Ricky only managed to score 2,1,6,2 and 7 in last 5 matches.He replaced by all-rounder Shane watson who has been out of the team due to injury while the captain join back in the team after a week. Ryan Harris also included in the team.

Now it’s really hard for Ponting to come back as Aussy ODI team really looking great with some exciting young players like peter Forrest, Wade, Christian, David Hussey who showed some class in the ongoing CB series.

So, its time up for Ricky Ponting to make a call on his retirement. Australian selectors might be expecting a statement about his retirement from ODI's.
